SUBSTANCE: digger for potatoes contains a digging up tool with rotor, system of feedbelts, units of cleaning, separation, sorting, top extractor, moreover the assembly of separation placed under the assembly of picking is made in the form of a comb and bins for small, middle-sized and big potatoes are placed from the sides of separation unit. The sorting unit is made of two cylindrical spirals placed one inside of the other with possibility of rotation every which way. Space between whorls of inner and outer spirals is 65 and 45 mm. The inner spiral is supported with bars of the rotor made of elastic material. The distance between rods of the comb is less than the finest fraction of graded potatoes.

EFFECT: quality increase of picking and cleaning of potatoes in the field.
