FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of propulsion engineering and is designed for realisation of methods for connection of different designs of oil filters. Method for fixation of cover in oil filter body consists in cover installation deep in body on previously arranged elastic projection, realisation of their mutual fixation by method of pressing and cover closure by sealing. The novelty is arrangement of cover as assembled from shield and amplifier, and fixation is carried out in the form of stage press fitting, which includes preliminary press fitting of amplifier with further press fitting of shield with sealant, and closure is done by upper part of body in the form of cartridge. Invention makes it possible to provide for reliable force of tension, which excludes cover slippage not only relative to body, but also relative to engine.
EFFECT: accordingly, tightness, quality and reliability of filter are increased as a whole, its assembling capacity is increased, percentage of rejected filters is reduced, there is possibility to automate technological process.
