FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in production processes incorporating high-efficiency equipment. In compliance with the proposed method, axle-type part surface and its faces are ground on centerless-grinding and face-grinding machines respectively. The later are mounted in one line along the processing stream and are interconnected by transfer appliances furnished with processed part rejecters and guide assemblies. The face-grinding machines are equipped with part rejecters and injectors-suction pieces. The machines are set up so that the axis of part processed in centerless-grinding machine axis gets aligned with the loading position on face-grinding machine. Note that uniform feed of the parts to be processed into cutting zone is allowed for at every position of the process by making a constant pile of parts.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of grinding along with quality and accuracy.
