SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to wood impregnation and can be used in different industry branches to protect wood products from biodestruction, for example, piles, PTL poles, posts, sleepers etc. The method of wood processing based on the wood impregnation in hot and cold baths involves impregnation of wood with a solution of water-soluble wood preservative and impregnation of wood with a solution of organic-soluble wood preservative. Firstly the wood is successively treated with hot and cold solution of water-soluble wood preservative and then successively with hot and cold solution of organic-soluble wood preservative. The proposed wood processing method involves no highly toxic preservatives that allows to manage without construction and operation of treatment facilities.

EFFECT: proposed method ensures highly efficient protection of the products along with small time and material costs.
