SUBSTANCE: proposed beam guard rail comprises at least one lengthwise beam attached to the fist and second posts. The second posts are shifted relative to the first ones in crosswise direction, in the plane of road surface, while, in lengthwise direction, both alternate. The second posts can be arranged at an angle to vertical, inclined towards the beam. In the case of two-tier beam guard rail, the first tier beam is attached to the first of second posts. The second posts are straight which is why the post part deepened into road base makes the continuation of its overground part.

EFFECT: increased retaining capacity and operating width, simpler design of two-tier beam rail guard.
