FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to methods for coal gasification and may be used for production of hydrogen and synthesis gas. Method includes organisation of coal material oxidation with oxygen in underground gas generator, and oxygen is generated directly in combustion zone as a result of thermal decomposition of water vapours and exothermic reaction of aluminium interaction with water, which is in the first version of invention is supplied to combustion zone of underground gas generator in the form of prepared suspension of powdery aluminium in water medium with pH>10 at the ratio of Al:H2O=1:4-5 wt parts and sprayed in water of coal bed, providing for ratio of supplied suspension to water as 1:50-100 wt parts. In the second version of invention in combustion zone of underground gas generator prepared suspension of powdery aluminium is supplied in water medium at the ratio of Al:H2O=1:4-5 wt parts with water in the ratio of 1:50-100 wt parts under pressure P in delivery well, which provides conditions for supercritical condition of water in combustion zone with account of depth H of underground gas generator P≥23-10-5·γ·H, where P is pressure at H=0 m, mPa; γ is specific weight of supplied suspension, kg/m and H is depth of underground gas generator, m.

EFFECT: increase of percentage of hydrogen and reduction of hazardous nitrogen compounds in products of coal gasification, increased temperature in combustion zone in process of aluminium interaction with water that helps to increase completeness of initial gasification material processing.
