FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used for regulating pressure of a gas and shutting down pipelines. The regulator has housing in form of a split pipe, in the cylindrical cavity of which, in front of a shut-off-regulating device - rotary valve, there is a moveable seat, pressed against the valve by a recoil spring in the closed position. The inlet cavity of the regulator, through series-fitted filter and regulator, is linked to the amplifier chamber of the pressure-control device. The seat divides the cavity of the housing into two chambers. In one chamber (shut-off), linked to the atmosphere, there is recoil spring. The other chamber (working), through a holding valve (return valve), is linked to the control channel of the pneumatic actuator of the valve on the section between the constant throttle and the amplifier chamber of the pressure-control device, the sub-membrane cavity of which is linked to the outlet cavity of the regulator.
EFFECT: increased air-tightness of the shut off-regulating component of the regulator, longer life service and wider range of operating temperature.
