FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to minerals concentrating, particularly to procedures and installations for concentrating gold and other virgin metals from placers; invention can be implemented for concentrating blocks as well as previously developed (anthropogenic) placers containing fine, thin, flattened or disperse gold. The procedure of concentration of gold containing placers is performed by means of the movable installation and consists in supply of material, its disintegration on a washout table, in preliminary sizing into fractions +60 and -60 mm with removal of fractions exceeding 60 mm to dump, in double sizing fractions -60 mm on a vibration screen with removal fractions from -60 to +20 mm to dump and in selective concentrating of medium fraction with size from 20 to 4 mm in a deep-filled sluice and fine fraction from 4 mm and less in a centrifugal concentrator. In the process of disintegration of gold bearing sands and their sizing on the vibration screen there is prepared gold containing hydraulic mixture of fine fraction containing gold of 4 mm size and less at required for centrifugal concentrator ratio of solid to liquid s:l =1:8; further all gold containing hydraulic mixture without losses is supplied by means of a gravel pump to the centrifugal concentrator. The flow of hydraulic mixture looses rate before entering the centrifugal concentrator in a flow damper installed at the inlet to the centrifugal concentrator; then as a gravity flow it slowly comes into the centrifugal concentrator. The flow damper of gold containing hydraulic mixture is made out of a truncated four panel pyramid installed with its base upward and of a prism arranged on the base of the pyramid. The wall of the prism receiving the flow of hydraulic mixture is made as replaceable armoured sheet, while dash plates are assembled on the opposite to the armoured sheet panels of the pyramid; the dash plates meet flows of hydraulic mixture reflected from the armoured sheet and direct them to the opposite panels of the pyramid, wherefrom the flows under force of gravity come into the centrifugal concentrator. Due to highly intensified turbulence sand is additionally disintegrated without increasing water contents in hydraulic mixture during the process of displacement of hydraulic mixture with the sand pump and the process of speed retarding in the flow damper. Hydraulic mixture not containing gold is directed from the centrifugal concentrator to the deep-filled sluice, wherein gold containing sand of medium fractions of gold size from 4 to 20 mm comes.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of extraction of fine, thin, flat and disperse gold.
