FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering industry and may be used for slabs turning over. Turnover device aims at slabs turning by 180°. Input table consists of two levers connected by means of a bar and mounted on two fixed supports with the help of ball joints. Output table includes three longitudinal elements connected by means of a bar and two levers. Elements are leaned on wheel supports that are installed on rails. Table levers are connected by rollers and bearings. Hydraulic drive includes two hydraulic cylinders that are installed on fixed supports and connected with the levers. Horizontal and vertical distances (L1, L2, H1 and H2) chosen in home position between rotation axes of input and output tables and roller axes in turning position provide input table turn for the angle of α=92°, and output table turn for the angle β=88°.
EFFECT: provision of turn-over device safety improvement at increase of loading capacity up to 40 tons and length of turned slabs up to 12000 mm without changes of overall dimensions and hydraulic system.
