CONVEYOR FOR TRANSPORTATION OF BLANKS IN PRESS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B30B15/30 B21D43/05 B21D43/14 

FIELD: conveyor construction industry.

SUBSTANCE: present inventions pertain to forming, and may be used at transportation of blanks in the press or in press line. Conveyor for blanks transportation consists of the first and the second side beams located on both sides of the press. For transported blank gripping there is at least one pillar with gripping devices attached to side beams. The pillar is moved along beams and presents a cross-bar arranged across the press. Side beams are attached to the assemblies that include turning mechanism for beam turning about horizontal axis perpendicular to transportation direction. Gripping devices have the possibility of movement with rotation in order to compensate blank orientation caused by beams turning. During blanks transportation the pillar is arranged above the blank, by side beam turning the pillar is pulled down and the blank is gripped. Then by side beam turning the pillar is lifted and the blank is transported to second zone via pillar's movement along the beam. At blank transportation the side beam is turned about rotation axis and the blank is released from the grip.

EFFECT: provision of conveyor structure simplification and increase of parts transportation efficiency.
