FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil processing and to petrochemistry, particularly to compositions of detergent corrosion-inhibiting additive to engine fuel for vehicles, specifically to vehicle benzene and diesel fuel and can be implemented for reducing sediments in fuel systems of vehicles and their protection from corrosion during storage. Additive to engine fuel contains, wt %: product of boric acid condensation, diethanolamine and triglyceride of fat acids C6-C20 at mole ratio 1:3:0.8 correspondingly 80-90 and benzotriazol 10-20. Also there is suggested fuel composition on base of engine fuel containing the above said additive at value of 1.0-10.0 wt %.
EFFECT: utilisation of suggested additive facilitates obtaining engine fuel with high detergent and corrosion-inhibiting properties and increasing period of vehicle storage to 3 years.
