FIELD: biology.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology and is a method of obtaining aromatic L-amino acid using Escherichia bacteria, which is modified such that, expression of the ydiN gene or ydiB gene or both genes is weak in the bacteria. The method of obtaining an ester of inferior alkyls of α-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine involves growing the said bacteria, capable of producing L- phenylalanine, in a culture medium. L- phenylalanine is extracted from the culture medium and the ester of inferior alkyls of α-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine is synthesised from asparagic acid or its derivatives and the obtained L- phenylalanine.

EFFECT: invention allows for obtaining aromatic L-amino acid with high level of efficiency.
