FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pneumatic and hydraulic mechanisms of rotary and rotary percussion action used in construction and for drilling rocks. Hypocycloidal rotary mechanism consists of a stator with internal teeth, end cover plates, and rotor installed with eccentric position and rolling off during operation with its external teeth along stator. Rotor is composite and provided with helical grooves for supplying pressurised working medium through circular viaholes and circular groove of end cover plate and radial holes of rotor connected with the above grooves to inter-teeth operating cavity of rotary mechanism, and for discharging used working medium from inter-teeth exhaust cavity of rotary mechanism; and beyond the limits of rotor attached to end cover plate, radial height H1 of helical grooves is more throughout the length of the above helical grooves than height H of helical grooves along the rotor-to-cover plate joint.
