FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mining and can be implemented at operation of oil, gas, and water producing wells. The well filter consists of a metal pipe with openings equipped with a plug from below and of a filtering element installed inside the pipe with a gap and coaxial to the pipe. Alignment of the filtering element and the pipe is facilitated with centralisers. From a top the metallic pipe is equipped with a coupling wherein a spring-loaded valve is installed. The coupling has lengthwise pass-through openings and a hydraulic channel of two halves. The first half of the channel is equipped with a ball of the valve coinciding with the axis of the well filter, while the second half is made perpendicular to this axis and does not cross the lengthwise pass-trough openings. There is an opening in the lower part of the metal pipe above the plug.

EFFECT: reduced labour costs and simplification of operation at carrying out routine maintenance for filter replacing; also increased over-haul period of pump operation.
