FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to aviation engine building and power engineering industry, and can be used for static balancing of rotor impellers, and namely with wide-chord twisted blades at the assembly stage thereof. The effect of invention is reducing the value of initial rotor unbalance, which is achieved by the fact that radial, tangential and axial static torques of set are measured and meant for its equipping, total static torque of each blade is determined, static torques are classified in pairs subsequently choosing pairs with maximum or minimum values of total static torques from a set of blades, and chosen pairs of blades are installed on the rotor with diametrically opposite location of the blades of the pair starting from the pair with maximum values of total static torques of blades in decreasing order of values of total static torques of blades of pairs; at that after each pair of blades has been installed, direction of rotor's travelling is changed, and blades of the pair are installed near the pair of blades installed before so that blades with maximum total static torques in neighbouring pairs can be arranged in opposite half-planes of rotor disk.
EFFECT: reducing the value of initial rotor unbalance.
