FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment, particularly, to self-propelled artillery pieces and can be used in the designs of wheeled self-propelled guns used in the ARMY. The proposed vehicle comprises armored cabin mounted on the base frame, engine mounted below the said cabin, base with rotary load-bearing device, fire control system and ammunition load. The sides and roof are arranged along the base edges to make the housing set on the aforesaid frame. The roof features an opening receiving a turret with main armament. The housing and turret spaces form an integrated tight combat compartment. The base, outside aforesaid housing, accommodates extending supports to add to stability of vehicle in firing. The proposed vehicle is built around the domestic "КАМАЗ-6560" truck with the 8×8 axle arrangement.
EFFECT: reduced weight and production costs.
