FIELD: physics, radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for detecting of undistinguished objects against the background of passive interferences. To this end, superhigh-frequency (SHF) oscillations with constant carrier are generated and the said oscillations are temporarily compressed. Then, the generated sounding signal is directly irradiated and, the signals dissipated by the object, are received to make a decision on detection of the object. Note here that, in generating the SHF sounding signal, oscillations are directed along two channels and, then, are summed in anti-phase to completely subtract the oscillations contained in antepulse and afterpulse. Note also that fluctuations transmitted over the first channel are delayed for the period of transmitting oscillations over the second channel, while the oscillations transmitted over the second channel are phase shifted, limited to afterpulse and antepulse amplitude oscillations transmitted over the first channel.
EFFECT: detection of objects, against background of passive interferences and with sharply different characteristics of dissipation, as well as and in immediate proximity from a radar.
