FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel cell (FC) power plants and can be used in design of self-contained, standby, transport power plants operating in field conditions. According to the invention FC power plant comprises FC generator, inverter and generator output voltage sensor connected to automatic control and monitoring system input. Herewith, voltage stabiliser, DC-DC converter and three switching elements are introduced in it. Voltage stabiliser and DC-DC converter inputs are connected to FC generator output, and stabiliser, generator and DC-DC converter outputs are connected with inverter input via corresponding switching elements, control inputs of which are connected with outputs of automatic control and monitoring system.
EFFECT: correlation of FC generator characteristics with standard invertors widely used in uninterrupted power supply units, and increase in energy efficiency of FC generator, plant flexibility and reliability.
