FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: vertical slots are made in the vegetable layer at the density five slots per one square metre. The slots are made by pressing and separating or cutting out vegetable layer and staggered. The slots are made in the conic shape, and the larger diametres of the slots are selected from the range (0.05÷0.1)Db, where Db - diametre of peat block. Plants including plants in peat block are bedded in the formed slots.
EFFECT: method allows forming Moorish lawn which is freeze-resistant, resistant to poaching and able to grow in various types of soil, and reducing labour cost in forming such lawn and excluding soil erosion.
