FIELD: illumination.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rescue works and serves to illuminate territories whereon rescue works are performed at night. The proposed illumination mast comprises flood light unit, electrical winch, power supply system and extendable sections. It also incorporates a multi-section cable and pulley elevator with cylindrical telescopic sections, one fixed and several movable. Aforesaid sections-bends enter one into the other with no clearance, and represent the tubes furnished with clamps and support rollers. Inside every said bend, metal cables pass through aforesaid clamps and support rollers. One of the said cables connects the fixed bend with the said electrical winch and the second movable bend, the base of which has a safety clip bearing the support roller. The rest cables are jointed to the base of each movable for them to be jointed to the nest bend via the support roller. Note that the tops parts of all bends are provided with guide rings.
EFFECT: efficient illumination of large areas, mobility, smaller sizes and weight.
