FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to wireless communication networks and a method of controlling point-to-point call, initiated between a wireless mobile station and a remote party, when the mobile device receives broadcast content on one or several multi-user broadcast direct communication lines. The mobile station notifies the network on preferences relative preset operation condition categories, for example whether to continue reception of broadcast content, and choice between a point-to-point call and broadcast content, if the network resources are not capable of supporting point-to-point call and transmission of broadcast content at the same time. In accordance with preferences, communication is established in one of the following modes of operation: (1) effecting point-to-point call and interruption of broadcast reception, (2) effecting point-to-point call and continue with broadcast reception, (3) interruption of point-to-point call and continue with broadcast reception.

EFFECT: initiation of point-to-point calls with participation of mobile stations, already receiving shared broadcast services.
