FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves growing spawners using mixed fodders from larvae stage up to puberty in fish ponds and pools. Fish is kept in pools without feeding during increase of temperature in water sources over 23°C and until seasonal cooling down to 22°C. Water is cooled down by 4°C in one step, then by 2-3°C per day up to the temperature of 3-6°C. Prior to returning fish to the ponds water temperature in pools is increased by 2°C per day up to the temperature equal to that of water source. Timely completion of sexual cycle of spawners weighing 1.5-3.0 kg is ensured by annual heat amount of 2800-3000 degree-days due to relocating overwintering fish from ponds to pools.
EFFECT: such technology allows for increasing quantity of spawners and form brood stock in the fishery regions of white salmon.
