FIELD: livestock farming.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock farming and is to be used when composing a diet for lactating cows. Method of feeding involves enriching the lactating cow diet with a combined fodder additive - granular sulphur with the diametre of 2-5 mm - waste of the desulphurisation plants at oil-processing factories at a rate of 0.07-0.08% of dry diet substance in combination with natural bischofite - brine of the Volgograd field in the amount of 3.1-3.2 ml per 1 kg of dry diet substance during milk yield stimulation period and respectively 0.08-0.09% of dry diet substance and 3.4-3.5 ml per 1 kg of dry diet substance after the milk yield stimulation period.

EFFECT: method allows for increasing productivity of lactating cows and improving milk quality.
