FIELD: cattle breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock sector, in particular, to fodder additive for lactating cows. Additive contains a mineral substance in the form of organoselenium preparation "Selenopiranum" and natural bischofite of Volgograd deposit in certain ratio of initial components. Fodder additive is fed in first 100 days of lactation in amount of 67,510.55 mg, and in the following days of lactation in amount of 69,307.43 mg day per 1 head.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to increase fat content in lactating cows milk and their milk yield.
