FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: method of using water-soluble surgical suit in nuclear industry involves covering at least part of the human body with water-soluble surgical suit. The suit contains water-soluble non-woven material produced from at least 90 weight parts of water-soluble fibers of polyvinyl alcohol in respect to the total suit weight. The suit is allowed to be washed in a water bath under such washing conditions that it does not become soluble. The water-soluble surgical suit is used to protect at least part of the human body against direct contact with radioactive material produced in the nuclear industry. The invention relates also to the water-soluble surgical suit used by the method. The suit consists of a shirt in the form of a blouse and trousers with legs and up to four pockets.
