FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of suspension separation with extraction of deposit as target product and may be used in coal-mining, coal-chemical, mining, food, chemical industry, in treatment of sewage waters, in construction materials industry. Method includes treatment of suspension with flocculants with further separation of solid phase from liquid phase with application of filtering material. Filtering material used is mesh woven from polymer fibers resistant to biological and chemical action, with diametre of pores from 0.05 to 1.5 mm. At that fluidity perpendicular to plane of filtering material and determined according to ASTM D 4491 makes from 150 to 1000 l/min/m2.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased efficiency of dewatering equipment in separation of solid phase from liquid phase with reduction of deposit humidity and content of solid phase in liquid phase.
