SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to treatment of the heterogeneous mediums, in particular, the suspensions with separation of the solid phase in the capacity of the target product, and may be used in the municipal economy and also in coal-mining industry, coal-chemical industry, mining industry, food industry, chemical industry at purification of the municipal and industrial waste waters, and also in construction materials industry. The method provides for injection in the suspension of the reactant stimulating the clustering of the particles of the solid phase of the suspension. Use the jet mixer in the form of the mixing head made from the hollow cylinder rigidly connected with the drive gear. On the cylinder surface there are the slit type holes for injection of the reactant in the suspension. Between the holes on the external surface of the cylinder the stirring blades are disposed. The rate of rotation of the mixing head is 100-5000 rpm. The technical result of the invention consists in provision of the capability of treatment of the suspension of the different composition and origin.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the capability of treatment of the suspensions of the different composition and origin.
