FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method for preliminary treatment of hydraulic part of multi-cylinder plunger pump having central cylinder and at least two side cylinders and provides for shock peening of central cylinder, shock peening of at least two side cylinders. Shock peening of central cylinder is carried out independently on shock peening of at least two side cylinders.
EFFECT: increased resistance of pump hydraulic part cylinders to fatigue fracture.
