SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. Exhaust manifold (111) for an engine comprises a cast body defining at least two exhaust gas transfer tubes(113a), (113b), (113c), (113d) for discharge of exhaust gases from engine cylinders and common exhaust gas outlet (116). Each of exhaust gas transfer tubes (113a), (113b), (113c), (113d) has a respective flange (112a), (112b), (112c), (112d) securing exhaust manifold (111) to engine. Rigid spacers (115a), (115b), (115c) are fitted between adjacent flanges(112a), (112b), (112c), (112d) producing an interference fit with adjacent flanges when exhaust manifold (111) is cold. Invention also discloses an internal combustion engine with a cylinder head comprising an exhaust manifold, a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine and a method of producing exhaust manifold for engine.
EFFECT: technical result consists is enabling expansion of exhaust manifold during heating without formation of strong internal strain and preventing deformation of exhaust manifold during its cooling.
