SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a recording medium with data structure for controlling playback data streams stored on it, as well methods and devices for playing back and recording. The recording medium contains a navigation area, in which is stored the first navigation information, including a single second navigation information or and second navigation information controlling the playback command. The second navigation information contains an indicator, indicating whether several playback channels present the data stream and information on the number of playback channels for determining the number of the playback channel. The second navigation information identifies a played interval in the data stream clip.
