FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to aviation medicine. Heart rate is measured in operator's activity to evaluate the working average factor (HRi av), and to calculate the first cardiac intervalogramm derivative (HRt). The derived data results in the psychophysiological stress level by formula: HRI av/HRf. The HRt and HRI av are compared. If HRt lies within the range HRI av±σ, the state is considered to be normal, if HRt is beyond the range HRI av ±σ, the state is considrerd as overstressed. The HRt being beyond the range HRI av±3σ shows the extremely stressed state. In case the sign of the HRt in operator's activity during 1.5 - 2.0 minutes is changed two times and more, the psychophysiological state is estimated as unstable, so adaptation reserves of the organism are close to the breaking point.

EFFECT: method allows improving reliability of operator's psychophysiological state estimation in professional activity.
