FIELD: production processes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed torch has a casing housing the collet chuck with electrodes and nozzle fixed on the casing. Funnel bush, aligned with the electrode, is mounted in the nozzle. The bush funnel part features orifices to form the protective gas flow, while is cylindrical part houses a confuser channel to form arc-forming gas flow. An annular ledge is made at the bush upper tapered part outer side. An annular gap to form protective gas-screen is arranged between the bush outer surface the nozzle inner surface. The bush is arranged 2 to 5 mm to the nozzle edge.
EFFECT: increased depth of weld penetration, reduced consumption of protective gas and improved properties of seam metal.
