FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering and involves constructions of devices for providing safety in the usage of devices, which convert wind energy to electric energy. Throttle device of an electric device contains an input diffuser, made in the form of an aerodynamic guide wind vane-beam, which has a root and cantilever part and is mounted on the root part at an axis with the capability of circular turning on it and at an angle in relation to the direction of flow. Wind vane-beam is made tapering from the root part to the cantilever. To the concave part of the wind vane-beam is attached a holding chamber with one or more windwheels, connected with the generator of electrical energy. The throttle device is made in the form of windows on the upper and lateral surfaces tapering parts of the wind vane-beam, supplied with mobile shutters, which interact with elastic sensing elements in the form of hollow tubes, whose free end is hermetically sealed and is in contact with a shutter, and the other end is gas-dynamically connected with the flowing channel of the wind vane-beam.
EFFECT: increased reliability, and also effectiveness of the use of wind-driven power plant as a whole.
