FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to special-purpose vehicles provided with firearms ports. In compliance with this method, a through hole is made in armoured glass, while fire hole casing is made from one-piece part that features, on one its side, a bulge representing a flange with its size exceeding that of the aforesaid said hole. The fire port casing is fitted into aforesaid armoured glass hole on the side of probable attack and glued thereto. The casing flange is glued either to the armoured glass outer surface, or in the recess made in armoured glass coaxially to the hole. The armoured glass inner side perimetre can be covered with a protective glass to entrap chips, made from, for example, rubber.
EFFECT: simpler manufacture and mounting, higher reliability of fastening, higher armoured glass fire port strength.
