SUBSTANCE: proposed cable for submersible crude-oil pumps relates to underground equipment of oil wells and can be used for powering electric motors of submersible crude-oil pumps. The electrical cable contains in a single plane, or twisted, three insulated electric conductors, a protective pad in form of a coil of synthetic tape and casing from zinc or German silver coating of profiled steel tape. Each electric conductor is covered by double-layer insulation from radiation crosslinked polyethylene and a shell from block copolymers of propylene with ethylene, the thickness of which is less than the thickness of each insulation layer.

EFFECT: longer service life of the cable at low temperatures.
