FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cable for submersible crude-oil pumps relates to underground equipment for oil wells and can be used for powering electric motors of submersible crude-oil pumps. The technical outcome of the invention is achieved due to provision for a second insulation layer from a block copolymer of propylene with ethylene, an underlayer of a different composition of a block copolymer of propylene with ethylene, resistant to effect of copper ions, forming with the second layer, while diffusing into each other, a monolith, with simultaneous overlapping through one extrusion head, and, without an extra layer through a separate extrusion head, preventing premature failure of insulation, thereby increasing the service life of the cable.
EFFECT: longer service life of the cable.
