FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of laser engineering and may be used to measure angular deviation of laser radiation directional pattern axis. Device for measurement of laser radiation directional pattern axis deviation comprises source of laser radiation, position-sensitive photodetector, at that device additionally comprises two crossed diffraction lattices installed in front of position-sensitive photodetector, and lightproof round screen, at that all elements are installed on the same optic axis, value of laser radiation directional pattern axis deviation is defined based on difference of laser radiation capacity values that arrive to opposite quadrants of position-sensitive photodetector, also device might additionally contain pentaprism with roof and rectangular prism glued to one facet of pentaprism that perform the role of beam splitting cube.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of laser radiation directional pattern axis stability measurement under action of external natural factors (vibration, temperature variation) and provision of compact location of optic elements and photodetectors.
