FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: inventions are related to measurement equipment, in particular, to generators of electric and mechanical oscillations in vibration gyroscopes with electromagnetic transducer. Self-contained generator comprises bridge circuit with permanent resistors in two arms, coil of electromagnet transducer in the third arm, balancing resistor - in the fourth one, linear differential amplifier, amplifier-limiter, DC voltage source, summating amplifier, digital potentiometre, low-pass filter, proportionally-integrally-differential regulator, ADC and processor. Method for balancing of self-contained generator includes supply of DC voltage in the first diagonal of self-contained generator bridge circuit and control of resistance in balancing resistor of this circuit with control of output signal from amplifier connected to the other diagonal of self-contained generator bridge circuit. At that balancing resistor used is voltage-controlled potentiometre, DC voltage is supplied to bridge diagonal continuously in process of self-contained generator, from output of self-contained generator with the help of low-pass filter, constant component of signal is separated and supplied as control signal to voltage-controlled potentiometre, at that voltage control coefficient is established as proportional to specified factor of external action at coil of electromagnet transducer of vibration gyroscope.

EFFECT: increased reliability and accuracy of self-contained generator functioning in case of environment temperature and other external factors variation in wide range, and also expansion of functional resources, including possibility to measure temperature of electromagnet transducer coil, ie its use as heat sensor.
