METHOD OF DIAGNOSTICS OF STRUCTURAL PATHOLOGY OF CRANIO-VERTEBRAL REGION (CVR) IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B5/00

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopaedics and traumatology. Complex examination of child's state by clinical signs of disorders of musculoskeletal system, anamnestic and signs of audiological and ophtalmological statuses is performed. Signs are evaluated in points and data are fixed in computer programme. For mathematical data processing decision rules for diagnostic of structural pathology type, built by means of discriminant analysis, are used. Programme shows on screen three versions in table and graph forms as to which group of structural pathology patient can be referred to: without CVR pathology, CVR trauma, CVR dysplasia, CVR trauma at the background of connective-tissue dysplasia (SCTD), CVR trauma at the background of CVR and SCTD anomaly, as well as number values of specificity of answer decision rules, and if all three answer versions coincide, said type of CVR structural pathology is diagnosed, if at least one of answers does not coincide, specificity values are compared and patient's CVR structural pathology type is determined by largest value.
