FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of gases purification from hydrogen sulphide and mercaptan and can be used for preparation of the means for its selective removal from gases. For this purpose monoethanolamine and formaldehyde or paraform are mixed in mole ratio 1:2, resulting mixture undergoes the ultrasonic impact in the frequency range 21.5-22.0 KHz during 0.5-1.0 hrs at the temperature 20-100°C. The resulting compound has high absorption capacity and hydrogen sulphide and mercaptan selectivity.
EFFECT: enhancing of the purification efficiency.
