FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and instrument for manufacturing of steel products metal-coated and can be used in metallurgical industry and mechanical engineering. Method includes stages: manufacturing of steel product metal-coated, addition of additional metallic element to specified coating and thermal treatment of mentioned product. Before addition of specified additional element specified product is subject to plasma treatment by means of dielectric barrier discharge for cleaning and activation of mentioned coating surface; specified additional element is added by means of physical precipitation from sparse vapor phase. Specified thermal treatment is implemented by means of direction of infrared light of high energy on outer surface of specified coating.
EFFECT: instrument includes facilities for implementation of plasma treatment on product metal-coated, facilities for addition of additional element to specified coating by means of physical precipitation from sparse vapor phase and facility for direction of infrared light of high energy on outer surface of specified coating.
