FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: method of rotation frequency measurement for pneumatic rotor engine provides for measuring number of pressure pulses generated in engine outlet per a unit of time. The frequency of engine shaft rotation is defined as a quotient of the measured number of pulses by the number of engine blades.

EFFECT: simplified implementation of rotation frequency measurement method and wide possibilities of method implementation due to rotation frequency measurement for in-built engines where access to shaft is hindered.
