FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary sector internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary sector internal combustion engine contains body-stator with space of regular cylindrical form in which rotor disk is installed on shaft. At carburation, liquid fuel is injected or gaseous working mixture is delivered through gas mixer. Body-stator and rotor disk of engine are divided into and filling sectors. Main sectors consists of filling sectors. Intake, exhaust and scavenging channels are made in main sector of body-stator and spark plugs are installed. Intake and exhaust channels are opened and closed by disk of rotor at its rotation. Elements of combustion chambers are made in filling sectors of main sectors of body-stator and rotor disk. In process of rotation, disk of rotor and body-stator form in succession combustion chambers of constant from and volume in which all working processes of internal combustion engine take place simultaneously in all main sectors. Full turn of engine shaft is implemented at operation of number of combustion chambers on engine equal to product of square of main sectors on engine by number of filling sectors in main sector and by number of combustion chambers in main sector operating simultaneously during working stroke. Provision is made for multiple application of acting forces in several points over circumference of space of body-stator and multiple participation of one and the same combustion chamber in operation at one turn of rotor.
EFFECT: improved specific characteristics of rotary sector engine.
