FIELD: chemistry; ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical study and analysis of abiological materials applied to providing environmental security of chemical weapons storage and distraction facilities. The method involves solving sample of 2-chlorovinylarsineoxide with weight of 0.1-0.3 g in 40 ml glacial acetic acid by using ultrasonic bath, adding 5 ml of distilled water and 3 ml of concentrate chlorine hydride, heating to 30-35°C and titrating by working bromide-bromate solution till it becomes yellow, adding solution of methyl red indicator in ethanol and titrating by the working solution before the indicator changes pink colour to primrose, carrying out blank test in the same conditions and recording volume of bromide-bromate solution used within titrating in both cases, and determining total mass fraction of the basic substance according to the set ratio. Note that, arithmetic average of the results of two parallel determinations, divergence between of which does not exceed 1% is accepted as final result.
EFFECT: enhancement of accuracy and reliability of determination.
