SUBSTANCE: according to the invention, the method is based on identification of load current and voltage increments and generation of shutoff and disabling signals. Generation of disabling signal starts from the first load current increment with values being within preset limits and ends in N periods, for example N=3, if positive load current increments repeat without skipping. The shutoff signal is generated in the same interval based on the positive voltage increments and reactive component of load current and/or load current phase angle increment in case they exceed preset values.
EFFECT: improved reliability of protection.
