CONTROL METHOD FOR HYSTERESIS DRIVE OF MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H02P1/46 H02P3/24 H02P25/02 H02P27/08

Abstract RU 2360353 C1

FIELD: motors and pumps; electric engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering and may be used in inertia drive mechanisms, for example gyroscope, electric spindles and medical spin dryers. The control method for hysteresis drive provides for applying high voltage Uph to the phases of synchronous hysteresis electric motor at the first stage. As a result, accelerated run-up of synchronous hysteresis electric motor is performed. As long as the motor is run up, the synchronous hysteresis electric motor current is being reduced. Upon accelerated run-up expiry, voltage on motor phases is reduced to nominal values. After that electric motor is over driven and related current is reduced to In value. At the same stage, additional magnetic bias pulses are actuated. In order to stop synchronous hysteresis electric motor, both phases are connected to direct current mains. Besides current is maintained within the preset limits. All the above operations of synchronous hysteresis electric motor are maintained by pulse-duration modulation.

EFFECT: simple design and improved stability of characteristics, wide functional possibilities due to dynamic breaking.
