SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering and may be used in electric drives of dental equipment, in particular. The a.c. electronic motor consists of an electro mechanical transducer with three-section winding, induction coil based on permanent magnets, inverter, control unit, three comparator and, in addition, electric motor start-up unit. The control unit is represented with a decoder based on six optron radiators having optical outputs connected to the proper optron inverter receivers by means of optron connection. The comparators outputs are coupled with control unit inputs. The power input of inverter is connected to power supply unit and electric motor startup unit input. The first output of startup unit is coupled with the third input of the second comparator, while the second output is linked with the third input of the third comparator. The second outputs of all comparators are interconnected.

EFFECT: improved stability and reliability of operation and reduced pulsation of running torque in ac electronic motor.
