FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to instrument making and can be used for outdoor surveillance in wide range of temperature exposure. Video equipment is put into outer and inner thermo-covers with optical windows. Depending on the ambient temperature, the video equipment and windows are heated or cooled using convectional or laminar air flow. Temperature of the air is changed using an electro-thermal element. If there is a difference in pressure between the outside and inside of the cover, part of the air is blown into an enclosed volume, or blown from it. The device for climatic protection of video recording equipment consists of outer and inner protective thermo-covers, inside of which is mounted the video equipment, a temperature control system and a control unit. The video equipment in the device is uniformly and selectively heated or cooled when necessary. The device is also protected from pressure drop.
EFFECT: achieving uniformity and selectivity of heating and cooling the inside of the device.
