SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and can be used for therapy of tumours. Substance of the invention consists in application of 3,3'-diethylthiatricarbocyanine iodide C₂₅H₂₅N₂S₂·I of structural formula: as an agent used in oncotherapy at single dosage 0.1 mg to 5 g taken up to 3 times a day.

EFFECT: invention allows improving therapeutic effectiveness ensured by recovered polarisation of molecules in introduction of low-toxic 3,3'-diethylthiatricarbocyanine iodide without by-effects.
