FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: multi-spindle nut runner comprises a casing to house motor 1, mechanism designed to direct travel along high- and low-speed rotation runs made up of gear pairs 2-3, 4-5-6, 7-8, 9-10, high-speed low-torque and low-speed high-torque rotation runs. The said high-speed low-torque rotation run consists of the mechanism separating rotation into high-speed rotation spindles. Aforesaid mechanism comprises central pinion 11 and gear wheels 12, their number being defined by the number spindles fitted on the shafts of wheels 12 and limit torque clutches 13 with yokes. Driven half-couplings of the latter are fitted on shafts 14. It comprises also gear wheels 15 and gears 16 rigidly fitted on shafts 14 articulated with gears 16 of wheels 17. It, further on, includes shafts 18 supporting, on one side, gears 17 and, on the other side, gears 19, and spindles 21 articulated with aforesaid gears 19 of wheels 20. Chucks 22 are fitted on output part of spindles 21. Low-speed high-torque run consists of intermediate shaft 23, linked up, on one side, with gear wheel 10 of aforesaid separating mechanism. The intermediate shaft other end, and supports gear 24, articulated with wheel 25, with its shat 26 supporting central gear 27 to vertically run thereon. Aforesaid central gear 27 forms, with wheels 15, aforesaid separating mechanism. Lever 28 is pivoted to central gear 27. aforesaid lever is connected to electromagnet 29.
